Sometimes plants surprise by suddenly deviating from the way they normally grow. This is called a mutation, and Lobelia Cardinalis Mini is a great example of this. Lobelia Cardinalis Mini has originated from the general production of Lobelia Cardinalis. It is characterised by its beautiful light green leaves which are closer together than the original Lobelia, and is also significantly smaller, hence the addition Mini to the name of the plant.

The growth is low and dense, as the plant branches willingly, even without trimming. In addition, the mini version rarely forms the long vertical shoots which otherwise characterise Lobelia Cardinalis. It is easily propagated by planting the cut shoots down into the bottom substrate layer. Lobelia Cardinalis Mini becomes most compact in good light conditions with additional CO2, but also thrives well without.

Tropica 1-2-Grow Tissue Culture Plants
Small plants with great success. Tropica 1-2-Grow are very young tissue cultivated plants grown in the Tropica laboratory. The plants are guaranteed to be free from snails, algae and pesticides and therefore are totally harmless for sensitive shrimp and fish. The 1-2-Grow range offers a unique range of plants.

Success with your aquarium depends largely on the proper plant choice. Tropica 1-2-Grow plants offer a myriad of plants which can be divided into smaller portions to cover a larger area. Plants are compact from the start so you will experience dense and beautiful growth, if you provide them with the correct fertiliser and CO2 from the start. The range is perfect for small and medium sized aquariums.

Tropica 1-2-Grow Directions

  1. Carefully remove the plant from the cup and rinse off the growing media.
  2. Split the plant as required into 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors.
  3. Plant portions into the substrate using tweezers. Then watch them grow!
